Delete your account and data

You can delete your Mianino account at any time, free of charge — in the app or by asking us by email.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Mianino — the phone app or app.mianino.com in your browser.
2. Go to Settings → Delete account and confirm.

Your account and data are deleted immediately.

Without the app — by email

Write to hello@mianino.com with the subject “Delete my account”. So we can find your account, include:

• the email of the Google account, if you saved your account with Google, or
• your baby’s name in the app and roughly when you started, if your account had no sign-in (for example, if you lost access after clearing your browser or phone data).

We’ll delete the account within one month at the latest and confirm by email.

What we delete

• Your account, your “yes” and “no” decisions, star ratings and notifications on your devices.
• Shared matches — for your partner too.
• The baby — once no parent is left in it — together with its advisors and invites.
• Names you added that we haven’t approved yet.

What stays

• Names you added that we approved for the catalogue — no longer linked to you.
• Database backups — for a short time, then they’re deleted automatically.
• Technical error reports (no personal data) — up to 90 days.

Deleting some data without deleting your account

You can change or remove your display name and preview surname in the app’s settings. To leave a baby, use Settings → Leave baby (your votes and ratings there are deleted, your account stays). To delete other data, email hello@mianino.com.
